Where is the campground? Go to the How do I get there? All this is on the How do I get there page.
(Please do not contact the campground about sites for the gathering. Contact Ross or Melanie)
What are the campground store hours?
We are open 7:30am - 7:00pm, seven days a week. We are closed on Christmas Day. The office is located in the campground store. The store carries camping supplies and a limited supply of grocery items. There is a Publix grocery store located within 1/4 mile of our site.
Do you allow pets?
Yes. Pets are required to be on a leash (with you at the other end) at all times, or inside the camper. They cannot be left tied up outside of the camper unattended. The only exception to them being outside of the camper un-leashed is when they are in the dog run (with you). You are required to pick up after your pet immediately upon them finishing their business (this means in the dog run as well). Pets are not to disturb other guests.
How far is OPC from Historic Charleston?
We approximately 10 miles from Downtown. The drive will take about 20 minutes in moderate traffic.
Do you have a heated pool ?
No, sorry our pool isn't heated. Our pool hours are 8am - 7pm unless we have bad weather.
Are we allowed to have campfires ?
Yes, campfires are permitted in above ground firepits*. If you prefer not to bring one, there are firepits available for rent at OPC for $4.50/night. *The only time campfires are not allowed is when the local Fire Marshall issues a fire ban due to potential hazardous conditions.
There will not be an East Coast Nationals gathering this year. Instead some chapters will be getting together to celebrate the 15 year Birthday of the Tearjerkers.
